Three little pigs

Duncan and Jeannie have taken delivery of three piglets down at Gordon's Knob. Tim and Katie and I are investing in them, and will hopefully be eating some rather fresh swine products by late October. To remind us all that they are food, and not pets, they have been dubbed Ham, Sausage and Cha Xiu, in accordance with Hugh Fearnley Whittintall's naming convention.

Also on the livestock front, they have bought in Boris the Boar to "lay over" (that's a tech term) Darcey, which will hopefully result in a litter sometime around November. Here's Boris and Darcey getting to know each other:
